The air, gas, or vapor stream loaded with particles or liquid is directed into the cyclone separator and set into rapid rotational motion by the NGA.
The resulting centrifugal forces, reaching multiples of gravitational acceleration, propel the droplets or solid particles contained in the medium toward the separator wall. From there, they flow into the condensate collection chamber, which is fluid-dynamically separated from the separation zone by the shielding cone.
The purified gas is deflected above the shielding cone and exits through the central dip tube. This design ensures complete separation of the separation zone and the collection chamber – a unique technical feature of BZ cyclone separators.

Each BZ-type cyclone separator is individually calculated and designed by our process engineers for its specific operating conditions – depending on the medium, pressure, temperature, and volumetric flow rate.
As a result, BZ cyclone separators achieve maximum separation efficiency with minimal pressure loss.
The sophisticated flow guidance, precise dimensioning of the guide assembly, and strict separation of functional zones ensure consistently high efficiency over long operating periods – without moving parts and with minimal maintenance requirements.
For condensate removal, the HS float-type condensate trap is available as an option.
This fully automatic solution ensures reliable drainage and prevents operational disruptions caused by liquid accumulation – a decisive factor for the longevity and efficiency of the entire cyclone separator.
